The foreign policy brief – Updates on Soft Power, is a quarterly publication by the Centre for Strategic and Foreign Relations at Vision India Foundation. With the aim to highlight the various facets of soft power, this brief brings to fore the cultural, civilizations and ideational dimensions of India’s global engagements. This foreign policy brief is a logical extension to Panchamrit – India’s five principles of foreign policy – namely – Samman (mutual respect), Samvaad (dialogue), Suraksha (security), Samriddhi (sustainable prosperity) and Sanskriti evam Sabhyata (culture & civilization). Through a series of publications, trainings and events, the Centre for Strategic and Foreign Relations also furthers these five principles.
