World Governance Expeditions to the UK

The 10-day World Governance Expedition concluded in the UK on 20th Sep. 20 delegates from India were a part of this 2nd edition of WGE. The expedition involved interacting with British politicians, scholars, civil servants and social entrepreneurs, with the aim of helping to shape future policy making and governance innovation in India.

Young Achiever Awards 2017

VIF in partnership with Quality Council of India (QCI) organized the Young Achiever Awards. This was a nation-wide hunt for young change makers. 10 achievers were awarded by Yogrishi Baba Ramdev in the categories of Governance, Education and Skill Development, Water and Sanitation, Rural Development, Financial Inclusion and Technology for Social Good.

Ayurveda for Wellbeing – Workshop

VIF in partnership with Anaadi Foundation organized a workshop on Ayurveda for Wellbeing. The workshop covered the human physiology from an Ayurvedic perspective and appropriate diet and lifestyle for well being. The emphasis was on living a healthy life in the modern urban context.

Monthly VIF Fellows Training

VIF conducts a 2-day training every month for its Fellows. The training focuses on improving the understanding of India and its contemporary issues, capacity building and improving their skill set relevant to their domains.
