Vision India Foundation (VIF) in its mere 5 year journey, has mentored and trained over 1500+ young minds from across the nation who have graduated from its programs. Driven by the motto #BeAndMake i.e. be a change agent and make change agents, its programs have helped each graduate understand how the nuts and bolts of a 1.4 billion strong nation work. Its vision to create informed public leaders for running the country through public policy and governance machinery has manifested in the form of short term training programs such as the Policy BootCamp, Good Governance Yatra, World Governance Expedition, Public Policy Program for Executives, etc.
Its team and alumni have also developed technology tools to bring innovation in governance and worked with a number of policy leaders to bring change. Our fellows are working with elected representatives, citizen groups, academicians, bureaucrats and more. We have completed projects on e-governance, rural development, education, local governance, skill development, and more in seven different states.

VIF is now taking its next leap forward and has launched Rashtram School of Public Leadership which will be offering a full fledged P.G. Diploma in Public Leadership, starting this July. Details about Rashtram can be found on rashtram.org

Manager/Associate Manager, Admissions

Job Summary

Manage end-to-end admission cycle for various short term and long term public policy training programmes conducted with respect to the annual training calendar.

Job Description

  • Scrutinizing programme-wise applications received for the various training programmes with respect to the annual training calendar of the organisation.
  • Managing correspondence through email and handling telephonic enquiries from prospective applicants for the various training programmes.
  • Conducting and facilitating screening process for the received applications, program-wise.
  • Rolling out selection offers emails, including scholarships in coordination with the Reporting Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Program Coordinator of respective training programmes for preparation of the final list of delegates.
  • Coordinate with the purchase team for finalisation and distribution of merchandise to the final delegation cohort for the respective training programmes.
  • Handling delegates’ documentation and fee payment in consultation with the accounts team.
  • Conducting admission audits and attending regular team review meetings with respect to the various training programmes at Centre for Leadership Advancement 
  • Deliver high quality and efficiency in processes.

Skills Required

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills: both written and oral.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive outlook and professional approach towards project management.
  • Flair for working on Google spreadsheet/admission software
  • Comfort with numbers

Preferred Experience

One year of experience in the admissions/corporate relations team of any leading educational institution. Exceptional freshers are also welcome to apply.

Remuneration: ₹2.4 lakhs – 5.2 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience and skills)

Associate Manager (Accounts and Administration)

Job Description

  • Managing all accounting operations based on accounting principles 
  • Publish financial statements in time 
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close process 
  • Comply with Government tax filing and audit requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising trustees on required actions; 
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data. 
  • Assist the admissions team at VIF in tracking payment of admissions fee and handling queries regarding the same 
  • Ensure the implementation of the HR policy by tracking attendance, managing payroll operations, and maintaining payroll information for tax compliance. 
  • Write and update legal, HR and payroll policies 
  • Supervise the office management and upkeep 

Skills Required

  • Accounting knowledge including accounting principles, rules of book keeping, filing of receipts etc. 
  • Beginner/Intermediate skill in Tally ERP 9 
  • Advanced skill in MS – Office tools like MS Excel, MS Word etc. 
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS and IT returns procedures. 

Remuneration: ₹ 1.8 lakhs – 2.4 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience and skills)

Program Manager, Center for Executive Education

Job Summary

Oversee and organize educational programs that will make an impact to a target audience in the domain of public policy and governance. Ensure programs are successful and cost-effective keeping in mind budget and time constraints. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills who do not leave anything about a program, to chance.

Job Description

  • Plan the program from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the program’s success
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate all operations
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the program
  • Ensure program is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Analyze the program’s success and prepare reports
  • Inventory Management where necessary

Skills Required

  • Proven experience as program manager
  • Skilled in project management
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills

Preferred Experience

  • MBA/BBA/B.Sc./B.Com/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management, or related field is preferred though we are open to exceptional candidates from other disciplines as well.
  • Event management / Project management experience preferred

Director, Operational Excellence

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the execution of the overall VIF/Rashtram operations including program execution and internal operations. 

Job Description

  • Works closely with the core team of Rashtram to understand their strategy for building the school
  • Responsible for setting up processes for internal functions such as executive education programs, accounts, finance, admin, admissions.
  • Responsible for operational excellence and continuous improvement in all processes for VIF programs
  • Responsible for program management , metrics management for Rashtram Programs

Skills Required

  • Excellent project management, communications, analytical, research and organizational skills  
  • Ability to plan and implement a program end to end
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of creativity, initiative, and motivation. 
  • Ability to mentor project / program managers and operations staff to meet all internal and external operational KPIs
  • Proven Track record of managing end to end operational excellence in a function.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Experience

 Two years experience in project management

Remuneration: ₹6 lakhs – 8Lakhs per annum (depending on experience and skills)
