Aspiring change makersproblem solvers, nation-builders and public leaders need meaningful pauses to think, reflect and find solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Antaram – A Meaningful Pause for Solutions in Education – is the first such pause to find solutions to the problem of education in India and the world.

Designed as a two-day education conference to be hosted at IIT Delhi on the 9th and 10th June 2018, Antaram features leading educationists, thinkers, practitioners, representatives of visionary schools across India, grass-roots leaders – teachers, principals, civil society representatives, education-entrepreneurs, change-makers from Central and State Governments including bureaucrats and Central & State Ministers and leading organisations finding meaningful solutions in education.

In a nutshell, Antaram is for you if you believe, that the solutions to the world’s leading problems will plausibly come via meaningful education; and, that you are actively playing, or will be playing, a crucial role in finding those solutions.

  • Participants will be inspired to think, rethink, and re-imagine education. It, however, does not end there. They will also get a glimpse of and opportunities to find/adapt/develop/innovate solutions for improvement on the ground.
  • Participants will get to hear live, and interact closely with visionary schools and organizations across India, and change agents who have made change possible – at the intervention, school, or large scale levels.
  • The conference does not push or endorse any particular view, model etc., but will provide a basket with a broad unifying theme of meaningful, holistic, integrated and character-building education.
  • ‎Visionary education models, that will be presented, will give fundamental ideas to the participants on the meaning, purpose, content and pedagogy of education.
  • ‎Aspiring participants of the conference are not merely academic by disposition, but will be change agents and nation builders drawn from all over India and outside.

Selections will be done on rolling basis – applying earlier will give you a better chance at getting selected. There are less than 60 seats to fill for the conference, so apply early!

  • The invitation to the conference is based solely on careful consideration of the application form.
  • Your zeal & commitment to find meaningful solutions for education precedes your qualification and experience.
  • There is no application fee to attend the conference.

The selected applicants –

  • Will be provided accommodation (on request) at IIT Delhi for the night of 9th June, 2018.
  • Are expected to attend both days of the conference to be eligible for any recognition.
