Manjeet Patel is currently assisting Shri Ganesh Singh Ji, three-time Member of Parliament from Satna, Madhya Pradesh. He assists him in managing relationships with public and redress their grievances. He Suggested development intervention through MPLAD and other funds mobilized by MP to develop Satna Constituency. He focus was on the Saansad Adarsh Gram-Itama plan to develop unique small scale food processing units and digital grievances redressal system “UTTAR-A” portal. He monitors the execution of government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Koshal Kendra Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana in the constituency. He listed feedback on election strategies by having close interaction with elected representatives from the panchayats and public in the constituency.
In the first year of fellowship he organised event like “Jan Sunwai” to get public grievances redressed in their own area, “Saansad Trophy” to search rural talent in traditional sports, “Teen Saal-Bemisal” to popularise govt achievement among common people and activities like “Mera Mobile-Mera Bank” to promote govt digital initiate among the public.
He completed B.Sc.(Hons) in Geography from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and M.Sc. in “Climate Change and Sustainability Studies” from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He belongs to a small village, Giduraha, in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. His urge to serve the socially backward segments of the society stimulates him to dedicate his life for rural development. He aims to start a social enterprise to help people engaged in agriculture and allied activities and in long term want to become a community leader and join the politics.
